David L. Ganz, Founder and CEO, has over 25 years of direct marketing and sales promotion experience. Mr. Ganz's work has covered the media spectrum including direct mail, telemarketing, print, broadcast, internet, video, and point-of-purchase. Leveraging his marketing expertise, Mr. Ganz develops state-of-the-art relational databases for his clients. These customized marketing databases utilize advanced segmentation techniques to target both customers and prospects alike. These techniques include RFM analysis, geodemographic and psychographic profiling, factor analysis, clustering, multivariate regression modeling, and trading area analysis. Managed by data communications experts, any customer file, in any language or format, can be converted to a powerful database for analytic and direct marketing purposes. Mr. Ganz, along with his staff of account executives and technical support analysts, have had significant experience managing database-driven multi-channel sales for non-traditional direct marketers. They are able to leverage direct marketing in simultaneous support of retail, wholesale, mail order and e-commerce so as to maximize the profitability of the business in its entirety. This "leading edge" approach to multi-channel sales combines advanced database segmentation techniques with trading area overlay and innovative promotion. Mr. Ganz, as company spokesperson, is a frequent speaker at industry events and has been honored with some of the Direct Marketing Association's top awards. In particular, his work for Sotheby's received a Gold Echo Award as well as the DMA's coveted Golden Mailbox Award for the most innovative use of that medium in 1989. David is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
Howard Mertz Howard Mertz, a Principal and Chief Operating Officer of Relationship1, has 20 years of Information Technology and program management experience. Prior to joining the firm in 1997, Mr. Mertz served as the Chief Technology Officer at a large manufacturing company, and as a senior consultant for an Information Technology consulting partnership. Mr. Mertz has developed and implemented comprehensive strategy in all areas of Information Technology including infrastructure and architecture; database and application design and development; telecommunications and networking; and business process re-engineering. Howard has coordinated enterprise-wide ERP package selection and implementation projects. He has developed and implemented plans for company wide deployment of client-server networks, both local and wide-area, and has developed and coordinated internet, intranet, web-site design, and groupware deployment across organizations. He has designed and deployed global wide-area networking. Mr. Mertz has worked with all major database vendors, and has performed design and implementation of numerous databases and applications for clients in assorted industries. |
